Electronic map (digital map), is the use of computer technology, digitally stored and consulted map.

Location Awareness: In the Taichen VMS platform, users can not only view the video stream but also view the electronic camera on the map the physical location and positioning, so that they have a stronger sense of location.

Two Map Formats: E-map information storage methods, you can use the vector image storage, map scale can zoom in, zoom out or rotate without affecting the display, you can also use bitmap storage, map scale can not zoom in or out.

Vector Map: Vector maps can display geographic information efficiently and exhaustively, but making vector maps is a daunting task. Commercial GIS systems are generally used in video surveillance platforms. You can choose a lot of commercial GIS systems, well-known as Google, Baidu, Tencent, Amap and so on.

Bitmap Map: Although the vector map is very powerful, also cannot be detailed to the video surveillance area of the plane details, this time you need to use their own production of bitmap map. Bitmap maps are easy to create and easy to access and are widely used for local detail monitoring of video surveillance systems.

Map Server Module: In Taichen VMS platform, digital E-map server module is a centralized map server, to provide users with a bitmap map support. Users do not need to maintain their own bitmap maps locally, and everything can be done centrally on the map server and managed and shared centrally.

Map Display Module: The map display module obtains the map information from the map server module and provides a graphical navigation for the client module. By using the map display module on the PC client, the physical layout and the video stream of the monitoring point can be simultaneously viewed.

Interactive Icon of Real-Time Status: With a quick preview, you can hover your cursor over the camera icon on the E-map to view the video. You can double-click a camera group icon to see the entire video area. With a uniform color-coded icon status indicator, you will be notified very quickly of video signal loss and sensor input alerts that triggered I/O and server status.

GPS Information: Users can stay at monitoring center, through Google, Baidu and other powerful commercial GIS system and the Global Positioning System (GPS) combined with the Taichen VMS platform, to achieve the target event feedback, data query, and other operations.
